manchester fashion week

Manchester Fashion Week is set to make a spectacular comeback this September, and we’re thrilled to announce that CAMPFIELD & CAMPFIELD HOUSE will serve as the official venue sponsor for this groundbreaking event. From 9th to 11th September, fashion industry leaders will gather at Campfield in the buzzing St. John’s neighbourhood, Manchester’s creative district.

The three-day event will spotlight Heritage & Future-Proof, Outerwear & Wellness and Fashion Tech & Innovation, showcasing how Manchester’s £12 billion fashion economy is pioneering new approaches to design, manufacturing, and consumption. From the city’s historic cotton mills to today’s digital design studios, Manchester Fashion Week will demonstrate how tradition can fuel transformation rather than constrain it.

Campfield & CAMPFIELD HOUSE will host emerging designers alongside established brands, creating a unique environment where traditional craftsmanship meets digital innovation. This represents exactly what Campfield was designed for – collaborative spaces where the next generation of creative leaders can experiment, innovate, and transform their industries.

“We were looking for a venue partner who shared the same vision of combining industrial heritage with cutting-edge innovation,” explains Gemma Gratton, Executive Producer of Manchester Fashion Week. “Campfield not only provides the practical space we need for an immersive catwalk event, but its vision really supports Manchester’s creative and tech community, which is exactly what we were looking for.”

Clare Shutt, Head of Marketing at Department comments: “We’re proud to be the venue sponsor for this event. Campfield was designed for exactly this kind of collaboration. The synergy between venue, location and audience couldn’t be more aligned with what we are trying to achieve.”

Tanya Grady, Commercial Director of Allied London says: “St. John’s has always been about creating a space where culture and creativity can thrive. Having Manchester Fashion Week choose us as their home is incredibly exciting. It shows that what we’re building here really works – St. John’s is becoming the place where Manchester’s creative future happens.”

Industry fashion leaders speak at Campfield

The calibre of speakers and attendees reflect the event’s serious commitment to industry evolution. Fashion sustainability pioneer Carry Somers, renowned designer Wayne Hemmingway, and ethical fashion advocate Safia Minney will be among the influential voices shaping conversations at Campfield about fashion’s future. This B2B-focused gathering will attract significant press coverage and celebrity guests, cementing Manchester’s position as the UK’s emerging culture capital.

Manchester Fashion Week will serve as a platform for honest dialogue, visionary thinking, and radical collaboration, activating spaces like Campfield across the city and inviting brands, creators, and communities to participate.
